Although researches show that the formation of entrepreneurial intention is based on social and psychological capital; but linear relationships, as well as ignoring gender, may not clearly explain the formation of the mechanism of entrepreneurial intention. Based on this, the main purpose of the present study was to compare the linear and non-linear effect of social capital on the entrepreneurial intention of agricultural students with the mediation of psychological capital, which was done separately by gender for a deeper understanding. The statistical population of the research consisted of final-year undergraduate agricultural students in the public universities in the academic year 2021-2022. In this regard, 384 questionnaires, designed in a five-option Likert scale and collected by multi-stage sampling method, were analyzed using the PLS-SEM algorithm in Smart Pls4 software. The reliability and face validity of the instrument were confirmed through ordinal coefficient theta and an expert panel. The results showed that in female students, the nonlinear model of the effect of social capital on the entrepreneurial intention with the mediation of psychological capital is superior to the linear model. But in male students, the model is only linear. In addition, the results of the research revealed that the mechanism of the effect of the studied structures in male and female students is different in some ways. The results of the present research can help education officials and planners to adopt policies and practices for male and female students that will promote their entrepreneurial intentions.

Social Network Sites (SNSs), as a tool for conveying educational messages, have a high position in the agricultural education system. The use of SNSs can affect different aspects of the educational system. Numerous studies have examined the relationship between the use of SNSs and various variables of educational system outputs. This study seeks to identify the factors affecting the educational use of social media and academic performance of agricultural students. The statistical population was 111,528 students of public agricultural colleges across the country in the academic year 2018-2019, of which 400 students were selected from eight universities in the country using Morgan table and multi-stage random sampling method. Data were collected by a researcher-made questionnaire using Likert Scale whose morphological validity was confirmed by a number of professors in the field of agricultural extension and Persian literature, and its content validity was confirmed by Average Variance Extracted (AVE between 0.64 and 0.73 for different variables) and reliability was confirmed using sequental theta (Ɵ between 0.85 and 0.92 for different variables). To investigate the effect of variables on students’ academic performance, t, f and Pearson correlation coefficient were used, respectively, and the findings showed that the most common use of SNSs among students is related to communicating with friends and family. There is a significant difference between the educational use of these networks by male and female students and also between students of different educational levels, but no significant difference was observed between different disciplines. It was also found that the rate of educational use of social networks among students who used these networks for educational purposes, has a positive effect on their academic performance, so it is suggested that educational administrators and planners as well as university professors pay more attention to the inclusion of these media in the curriculum.

The statistical population of this research consisted of 6598 undergraduate agricultural students at five public universities in the west of Iran (N=6598). According to Bartlett’s table, a sample of 365 students was chosen through random stratified sampling method. Data were collected using standardized questionnaires. Data were then analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modelling by the help of SmartPLS 3 software. Results indicated that academic self-efficacy and the three kinds of needs satisfaction were positively and significantly related to academic engagement. Furthermore, the results showed that academic self-efficacy mediated the relationship between the three kinds of needs satisfaction and academic engagement. These results show the importance of basic psychological needs satisfaction and suggest targeting student self-efficacy is not sufficient when attempting to improve academic engagement; rather, students must also feel autonomous, competent, and experience a genuine connection with their college, lecturers and fellow students.

The main purpose of this research was to study affecting factors on students’ entrepreneurial intention with emphasis on mediating effect of attitude toward entrepreneurial behavior. The statistical population of the research contained of all M.Sc. students in agriculture faculty of Zanjan University in 2015- 2016 academic year (N=489). According to Bartlett et al. (2001) table, a sample size of 220 was selected using a stratified random sampling method (n=220). Data were collected using the standard questionnaires (after adjusting the questions with the field of research). Content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by a panel of experts. Construct validity and composite reliability of the research instrument were tested by estimating the measurement model and they were satisfactory after making necessary corrections. Data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) multivariate technique and the Bootstrapping method was used for testing mediating effect. The results showed that two variable of perceived behavior control (ρ-value=0.001, β=0.808) and social norms (ρ-value=0.001, β=0.374) had a positive and significant effect on students’ entrepreneurial intention. In addition to this, the results indicated that sum of indirect effect of perceived behavior control (ρ-value=0.001, β=0.237) and social norms (ρ-value=0.001, β=0.210) on students’ entrepreneurial intention through the variable of attitude toward entrepreneurial behavior was significant and the three the variables explained 64 percent of variances of the students’ entrepreneurial intention.

Several factors affect academic achievement of agricultural high school students and by identifying these factors, the possibility of effective educational planning could be achieved. The purpose of this cause- correlational study was to investigate the impact of creativity, achievement motivation and emotional intelligence on the academic achievement of students. The statistical population consists all 187 agricultural high school students in Zanjan Province which 135 of them were selected based on Krejcie and Morgan sampling table and applying randomized stratified sampling method. The research tool had four sections which its validity was confirmed by a panel of related experts. A pilot study was conducted and calculated ordinal coefficient thetas were at the appropriate level (θ= 0.79- 0.82). Data were analyzed with Spsswin21 by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results revealed that there was a significant correlation between mother’s education level, interest toward major, daily hours of study, emotional intelligence, achievement motivation and creativity with academic achievement of students. There was a significant difference of students of different majors in terms of academic achievement and student of medicinal plants was in first rank of academic achievement. Results of logistic regression analysis revealed that interest toward major; achievement motivation and creativity in equation are able to predict academic achievement of students in either of the good, or weak to an extent of more than 80.7% correctly.

The statistical population consisted of all M.Sc. students in agriculture faculty of Zanjan University in 2015- 2016 academic year (N=489). According to Bartlett table, a sample size of 220 was determined and randomly selected using a stratified sampling method with proportional allocation (n=220). Data were collected using the standard questionnaires (after adjusting the questions with the field of research). Content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by a panel of experts. Construct validity and composite reliability of the research instrument were tested by estimating the measurement model and sustained after making necessary corrections. The data were processed using SPSSwin20 and AMOS20, then analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results indicated that majority of students’ entrepreneurial intention was at low and medium levels. Also, the results showed that learning orientation and work passion had a positive and significant effect on students’ entrepreneurial intention explaining about 61 percent of its variances.

Students' educational motivation and concerns for future job are interlocked and higher education institutions play a vital role in this issue. In align with this issue current empirical research focused on employability skills as an inner driver for agricultural students’ educational motivation. Statistical population was composed of 230 of agricultural students at Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center in Alborz Province, Iran from that 144 students were selected based on Krejcie and Morgan table and through stratified sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire that its face validity and its reliability were secured prion to the main data collection phase (Ordinal Theta ranged from 0.81 to 0.91). Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and binary logistic regression were the prime statistical methods applied by SPSS 23. Factor analysis showed that students' educational motivation is detected in six dimensions including; motivation and innovation, motivation and professional base, emotional motivation, financial incentive motivation, motivation to learn and motivation to get the degree. Also, motivation and innovation were the most variance extracted in these dimensions. The results of logistic regression analysis showed that students' educational motivation is dependent to some dimensions of employability including leadership skills. Hence, curriculum concentration on leadership skills could result in students' educational motivation and achievement.
