Since universities in Iran play a significant role in preparing human resources achieve advancing goals ofthe country, evaluating emotional intelligence (self-motivation, self-awareness, self-control, empathy, socialskills) and its role in educational achievement of the s tudents can lead to better planning and providing moreuseful solutions to the higher education sys tem obs tacles. Thus, this research was aimed at:" s tudying the effectof emotional intelligence's dimensions on the educational achievement of Agricultural S tudent's Razi Universityof Kermanshah" in the academic year 2020-2021. For this purpose, a quantitative research method based onthe survey was used. And the s tatis tical population of the s tudy consis ted of 812 undergraduate agriculturals tudents of Razi University of Kermanshah who were selected by s tratified sampling techniques with theproportional allocation and using Cochran formula 180 of them. The main ins trument for data collection wasa s tandard ques tionnaire of emotional intelligence of Siberia Schering (1996), validity of which was evaluatedby experts’ panel, and its reliability using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient and composite reliability index wasanalyzed and confirmed due to the fact that the rate was higher than 0.7 for all the cons tructs. Also, the scale usedin answering the ques tionnaire was based on the Likert scale (s trongly disagree to s trongly agree). S tructuralequation modeling (SEM), as a multivariate technique, and Smart-PLS software was used. According to pathanalysis results, dimensions of emotional intelligence (except empathy) have significant roles in improvingthe educational achievement of agricultural s tudents among agricultural s tudents of the Razi University ofKermanshah. Empirical results showed that the agricultural S tudents' academic achievement depends on theiremotional intelligence level and dimensions, and their emotional intelligence can explain 33% of agriculturalS tudents' educational achievement variance. Research findings offer a new theoretical framework for futuretheory development.

Eliminating academic burnout and increasing academic performance have always been one of the most critical challenges of higher education systems. From this perspective, identification and analysis of factors affecting them are of great importance. The main aim of this research was to analyze the effects of emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, and mental health to reduce academic burnout and to boost performance of agricultural Students. Present study is an applied research which was implemented using field survey. The statistical population was agricultural students of Iran public universities in 2018 (N=236973). 386 students were selected as a sample through stratified random sampling method. Research tool was a closed-ended questionnaire which its validity confirmed by a panel of experts. Ordinal theta coefficients demonstrated an acceptable reliability for the research tool (θ=0.74-0.89). The findings of path analysis revealed that independent variables predicted 69.3, 42.3 and 30.3 percent of variations in academic performance, academic burnout and mental health, respectively.

The aim of this research was to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence and entrepreneurial capacity among the agricultural students at Arak University. Quasi-experimental method was applied in this research. The statistical population consisted of 500 B.Sc. agricultural students in the 1394-95 academic year, from which 107 students were determined by Bartlett table as the research sample and were selected by applying simple random sampling technique. A questionnaire was developed to gather data. Validity and reliability of the research instrument were confirmed based on the evaluation of a panel of experts and ordinal alpha coefficient (α=0.80-0.85), respectively. The findings of research indicated that motivating oneself and managing emotions of students need further attention. The results of Spearman correlation coefficient analysis revealed that there was a positive significant relationship between self-awareness, managing emotions, motivating oneself, empathy, social skills and total emotional intelligence and students' entrepreneurial capacity. Ordinal regression analysis results revealed that the two variables of managing emotions and prior experiences of family members in starting business accounted for 52% to 70% probability of variation in the entrepreneurial capacity of students.

Several factors affect academic achievement of agricultural high school students and by identifying these factors, the possibility of effective educational planning could be achieved. The purpose of this cause- correlational study was to investigate the impact of creativity, achievement motivation and emotional intelligence on the academic achievement of students. The statistical population consists all 187 agricultural high school students in Zanjan Province which 135 of them were selected based on Krejcie and Morgan sampling table and applying randomized stratified sampling method. The research tool had four sections which its validity was confirmed by a panel of related experts. A pilot study was conducted and calculated ordinal coefficient thetas were at the appropriate level (θ= 0.79- 0.82). Data were analyzed with Spsswin21 by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results revealed that there was a significant correlation between mother’s education level, interest toward major, daily hours of study, emotional intelligence, achievement motivation and creativity with academic achievement of students. There was a significant difference of students of different majors in terms of academic achievement and student of medicinal plants was in first rank of academic achievement. Results of logistic regression analysis revealed that interest toward major; achievement motivation and creativity in equation are able to predict academic achievement of students in either of the good, or weak to an extent of more than 80.7% correctly.

The main purpose of this study was to investigate relationship between emotional intelligence and entrepreneurship willingness among agricultural and natural resource students, of Agricultural and Natural Resources University of Zabol. The statistical population consisted of 2500 agricultural and natural resources students in 2013-2014 academic year from that 178 students were randomly selected. Data were collected through the application of an instrument consisted of two parts including; Wong and low Emotional Intelligence Inventory and entrepreneurship willingness measurement tool. The research instrument was given to the academic staff of the department of agricultural extension and education to test its content validity. Ordinal theta was calculated to measure reliability of research tools (θ= 0.82-0.88). Data were analyzed using SPSS21. Results showed that there were positive relationship between emotional intelligence and all its components (self emotion appraisal, utilization of emotion, other’s emotion appraisal, regulation of emotion) with entrepreneurship willingness among agricultural and natural resources students. Also, based on ordinal regression analysis, variables: other’s emotion appraisal (OEA) and utilization of emotion (UOE), were able to predict entrepreneurship willingness changes among agricultural and natural resources students.
