Agriculture promotion and education has always been one of the main elements of the development of agriculture. Nowadays, the development of cultivating the strategic and import of rapeseed is a necessity and identifying educational development strategies for its development is very important. Meanwhile, the city of Solejdah in Lorestan province is one of the most prone to cultivating oilseeds. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of agricultural promotion and education in the development of rapeseed cultivation in this region. This research is based on qualitative paradigm. Statistical population of this study is 13 employees of the related experts and the officials of the Agricultural and Agricultural Cooperatives Development Department as the main informant. In order to increase the validity and validity of the data, the method of review by the participants as well as the validity of the research was applied to multilateralism.the results of this study showed that three strategies for enhancing support role, strengthening educational programs and organizing the system of cultivation would be beneficial for the development of rapeseed. To implement educational and promotional strategies, training in-service experts, training operators on the formation of cooperatives with the goal of integration and agronomy, implementation of group training programs aimed at improving productivity, visiting farmers from sample farms, rehearsals and monitoring Continuing technical and promotional experts and providing multimedia educational packages in the field of suitable irrigation systems, introduction of high yield resistant varieties and observing the distance between cultivars and seed rate per hectare
