Since the mission of each information system is to accelerate the use of information by users, hence, knowing users, their needs, and the ways in which they use information is essential and the provision of information resources, regardless of the information needs of learners, will result in the loss of human resources, budget and other facilities. Therefore, the research was conducted to investigate the information needs and information seeking behavior of students of Applied Scientific Training Center of Jihad-e-Agriculture in Bushehr province. The research method was survey and using a questionnaire. In this study, content validity method was used for validity and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used for measuring reliability. The statistical population of this study included students of that center during the first semester of academic year 2014-15 (N = 314). After removal of incomplete questionnaires, 282 items of the questionnaire were used for final analysis. The research findings showed that students' motivation was the most to seek information, prepare reports and study research. The most important source of information was the need for specialized literature introduced by the professors. Most students use the Internet between 3 and 6 hours a week, which is the most widely used e-mail, search engine such as Google and specialized databases for learning. The most important barriers to accessing the community are English language abilities, lack of resources in the library and a large amount of information retrieved.

Information sources are important sources for any enterprise and access. Proper, updated and accurate information in managing an enterprise help it improve its performance in products' value chain. The purpose of this study was to understand sources and methods of providing required information of rural silk carpet weavers. Using a case study methodology, data were collected through focus groups, semi-structured interviews, participatory diagramming, document analysis and observations. The study was conducted with silk carpet weavers of 90 rural households from 23 villages in the Zanjan Township and market actors from the cities of Zanjan, Qom and Kashan. In entrepreneurial carpet production system, carpet weavers required information for knowing appropriate entrepreneurs, increased carpet quality and providing carpet after weaving in two stages of before production and in the process of production. Entrepreneurs and family members were main information sources of carpet weavers for knowing an appropriate entrepreneur. Moreover, actors such as rural health homes, Commerce Administration, and the Rural Hand Weaving Carpet Union were the most important information sources of the weavers. At the stage of production, entrepreneurs provided required updated information of the weavers for increasing silk carpet quality. On the other hand, in the carpet self-producing system, local actors and market actors acted as main information sources of the weavers before and during production, while public and semi-public sources, which provide information during production, were not considered as important sources. This shows information sources and their providing methods depend on hand weaving carpet production system.

Psychologists and researchers believe that improving the quality of learning is not possible unless the higher education system of agriculture addresses the concepts of metacognition, given the importance and necessity of meta-cognition in order to improve the learning process and improve the quality of agricultural education system. The general purpose of this descriptive-survey study was to study the status of metacognitive components including knowledge, mastery of metacognitive behavioral strategies and behaviors among agricultural students in Khuzestan province(N=3700), 300 of them were selected randomly by stratified random sampling and were selected based on krejcy and morgan tables, The standard questionnaire for metacognitive knowledge of Shrow and Denison (1994), the standard questionnaire for mastering meta-cognitive strategies of De Groot and Pintrich (1990), and the metacognitive behavioral skills questionnaire. The designed as researcher-made. To measure the reliability of the research instrument, pre-test was performed calculated sequential theta test through R software (θ=0/93).The results manova test showed that the students were moderately high in terms of the three componentsofmeta-cognition.There wasasignificant difference between the three components of metacognition between different educational levels ofmetacognitive awareness and behavioral skills related to metacognition. And in terms of comparision of the averagesPhDstudents had higher metacognitive knowledge and knowledge than other levels. Kruskal Wallis test showed that students with different meanings in terms of meta cognitive awareness have a significant difference. It can be concluded that by increasing thelevel of the individuals experience in learning, the learningprocess improves in the person. Also, mastering the meta-cognitive on the academic achievement of learners.

Today, statistics are used in all areas of science to achieve tangible and reliable results so that it is rarely possible to interpret and analyze the results of scientific research without using appropriate statistical data processing (in two aspects of quantitative and qualitative). But the main challenge in this regard is how to correctly apply statistical methods in research. Agricultural research is no exception in this regard. Interestingly, some are overwhelmed by the use of statistics and their research isn't more than a play with statistical methods, and some are somewhat involved with data play and making which leads to the formation of a kind of deviation and misuse of statistics in research which is referred to as “statistification”. Some people do not believe to use statistics in their research. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyze “pathology of statistics application and data processing in agricultural scientific research”. This applied descriptive research in terms of research methodology paradigm is a qualitative inquiry, was conducted using a classic Delphi technique in three stages. The sample whose were chosen by purposive sampling method are faculty members and Ph.D. students with agriculture majors in Iran (n=17). The most important strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats were known as perceived by respondents and at the end all four rates averages were calculated with SWOT analysis matrix. The results showed that the resulting point of the SWOT matrix was located in the area of SO (aggressive strategies). Accordingly, proposed strategies were prepared and presented.

Regarding the importance of employment in the rural areas, as one of the most important policies in agricultural higher education programs, nevertheless a significant proportion of graduated does not involve in rural activity. So this study was aimed to investigate the attitudes of agricultural students towards occupation in rural areas. The study was a correlation- descriptive survey and target population consisted of agricultural students of the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili in the 2016-2017 educational year (N=1192). Sample size determined using Cochran formula as 170 people and stratified random sampling method was used as a sampling method. The main research instrument was questionnaire which its validity confirmed by the panel of expert and reliability approved by AVE with the value of 0.40 to 0.48 and CR coefficient with a value of 0.77 to 0.88. The results indicated that almost 55% of respondents had the positive and relatively positive attitude towards occupation in rural areas. Also based on comparative analysis significant differences were found regarding gender and living place in term of attitude as boys and rural students had more favorite attitudes towards occupation in rural areas. Based on correlational analysis there were a significant statistical relationship between families’ income, years of living in rural areas and students’ interest with attitude. The results of structural equation modeling (SEM) also showed that three factors of "entrepreneurial individual characteristics", "social and economic factors", and "government supportive policies" explained about 86 percent of variance in dependent variable of attitudes toward occupation in rural areas.
