The agricultural sector is the largest consumer of natural resources and at the same time plays a big role in preserving them as well. Urban agriculture is a method for decreasing the vulnerability of the urban population of the world against ecological changes. This study investigates multimedia measurement of the effectiveness of urban agriculture for the purpose of home agricultural education using empirical research model Pretest-posttest control group without the use of random selection. The population of the study is 110 urban families in the city of Kermanshah who have had the experience of planting and growing plants at home and participated in Green Domestic Spaces Competition in 2014. The sample included 60 families which were divided in two 30 member groups, control and test groups. Sampling was conducted in the form accessibility and pre- and post-test questionnaires were used to collect the data. The reliability of the test was reported to be 85% using Cronbach's alpha and its validity was confirmed by supervisor Committee. SPSS 21.0 and t-test were used for the analysis of the data. Since any change in views takes a lot of time, this study has only focused on the areas of knowledge and skill. The results indicated that there is a significant difference between knowledge and Skills of test groups after the implementation of multimedia training methods and those of the control group.

This study has aimed to analyze the farmers’ skills on optimal use of agricultural water resources; since the skills are a reflection of knowledge, attitude, and facilities. The target population of this study was all farmers from Bahar County, Hamedan province (N=1931) that 271 of them were selected by random sampling according to Cochran formula. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire which its validity confirmed by a group of relevant experts and the reliability of the variables was calculated using ordinal alpha coefficient (α=0.85-0.93). There were significant differences between Knowledge and skills about optimal use of agricultural water resources of Farmers that participated in related training courses and those didn’t participate, according to the results of Mann-Whitney test. Also farmers categorized based on the land ownership, information resources and water supplies were significantly different in terms of their water management skills, according to the results of Kruskal-Wallis test. According to the results of Spearmans’ correlation tests, there were positive significant relationships between skills with variables of knowledge, attitude, and number of land plots; while this variable was negatively and significantly correlated with the amount of the annual production, total hectares of rainfed lands, and the amount of using chemical fertilizers. Moreover, based on the result of ordinal regression, 50.9% of the skills variations could be explained by three variables as the farmers' knowledge and attitude and number of land plots.

One of the most important aspects of overseas agriculture is the admitation of foreign students in the agricultural higher education system. Today, the developed countries with the production and development of science in the field of agriculture, attract students from other countries and share their knowledge and experience. Accordingly, given the recent advances in various fields of science and technology in Iran, this issue is now considered an overseas agricultural issue as a necessity, which, of course, has strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats which should be considered by them, began to attract foreign students. The purpose of this study was to identify the challenges to attract foreign students in Iran's agricultural higher education system and presenting the necessary strategies in this regard. This applied descriptive research in terms of research methodology paradigm is a qualitative inquiry, was conducted using a classic Delphi technique in three stages. The research sample whose were chosen by purposive sampling method are faculty members and Ph.D. students with agriculture majors in Iran (n=18). In this way, the most important strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats were known as perceived by respondents and all four rates averages were calculated with SWOT matrix. The results revealed that the resulting point of the SWOT analysis was located in the area of WO (conservative strategy, based on this, the most imprtant strategies were obtained including providing constructive interaction between Iranian colleges of agriculture and other countries, long-term policy making for overseas agriculture, and developing social adaptation for admitting foreign students.

Given the policies adopted by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology to make the universities and students entrepreneurs, innovative behavior in students can help the development of academic environment and, at the same time, it can be effective in motivating entrepreneurship amongst the students and lay the ground for their employment. In this respect, various factors can influence students’ innovative behavior. This study aims to explore the factors underpinning students’ innovative behavior in the Faculty of Agriculture in Sari, Iran. The statistical population was composed of 433 students, out of which 206 students were selected through simple randomization on the basis of Krejcie and Morgan table. Data were collected with a self-designed questionnaire whose face and content validity was confirmed by a panel of experts. Also, the average derived variance (0.830 < AVE < 0.923) and combined reliability (0.500 < CR < 0.620) showed that the research measurement model had convergent reliability and appropriate validity. Also, the research research structual model was found to have diagnostic validity since the average derived variance was greater than the average shared squared variance and maximum shared squared variance. Data were analyzed by multivariate method of structural equations modeling using partial least squares method with the Smart PLS software package. The results revealed that out of nine studied factors, four factors including organizational culture (β = 0.296 and ρ = 0.010), education (β = 0.330 and ρ = 0.001), motivation (β = 0.249 and ρ = 0.006) and personality

One of the reasons for the low efficiency of university graduates in the Work Market is to provide the theoretical training regardless of the Work Market requirement in the Higher Education. In order to solve this problem, the Applied Scientific University and following of that ‘the training centers of Jihad-e-keshavarzi were created with the aim of training qualified skills graduates who the Work Market require them .Therefore, the present research was conducted with the aim of comparative study of professional competencies of Applied Scientific graduates in medicinal plants course of Imam Khomeini Higher Education with the needs of Work Market in a consecutive mixed method in 2018 . To achieve the research goal, at first ,the Delphi method was used to extract Work Market competencies. The statistical community of this section included the activists of the Medicinal Plants Department and faculty members and instructors of Applied Scientific Higher Education Centers (n=27) who were selected through a targeted random sampling method. The statistical community of this stage of research included 380 Medicinal Plants graduates during 2009-2016 that 181 students of them were selected by random sampling based on Krejcie and Morgan table. The results showed that the level of competencies of the Work Market for graduates was lower than employers' expectations. It is suggested that, in order to aligning the graduates' competencies with the Work Market requirement and increasing their employment, when designing and compiling the courses of these centers, effective interaction with the employers, their expectations should be considered.

Entrepreneurship education plays a role to develop entrepreneurial attitude. The purpose of this cause-correlational study was to investigate the impact of entrepreneurship education on students' attitude towards business in agricultural high schools of Kermanshah. The statistical population was 175 students from seven agricultural high schools. Based on Morgan sampling table, 118 students were selected by stratified random sampling method with proportional allocation. To gather data, two researcher-made questionnaires were used when their validity was confirmed by a panel of experts and their reliability was confirmed by a pre-test and ordinal coefficient theta (θ = 0.94 and 0.81) through R software. Data was analyzed by SPSS. The results showed entrepreneurship education included eight components: personality characteristics of students, coaches' characteristics, space and educational equipment, teaching methods, educational content, transformational leadership style, educational counseling, and occupational counseling, educational patterns of students in the family, which were based on literature and research background, have a positive and significant correlation with the attitude toward Business, and based on Kruskal Wallis statistic, there is no significant difference between students' attitudes toward different educational trends in agricultural high schools in Kermanshah. The result of logistic regression showed that the proposed model was able to differentiate between two groups of students with a positive or negative attitude towards agricultural business, and 82.8% of the students, and according to the Exp (β), the "transformational leadership style" has the highest predictive power in the logit model. Finally, practical suggestions were made to improve entrepreneurship education in agricultural high schools.

Investigating the knowledge of greenhouse owners about the different aspects of the management of greenhouse systems makes a base through which it is possible to discern the existing knowledge gaps together with implementing the respective educational measures to provide the desirable quantitative and qualitative levels of production. Due to this, the present study was aimed at investigating the existing and desirable knowledge of greenhouse owners in Yazd City in reference to the management of control and prevention, standardization and crop improvement. Using the proportional stratified sampling, 322 greenhouse units were selected and surveyed in light of a self-implemented questionnaire (N = 2073). In order to confirm the face validity of the questionnaire, two faculty members of the Agricultural Extension and Education Department and the Department of Sociology and Planning of Shiraz University reviewed, thus according to their comments, the necessary amendments were achievable. The reliability of the research indices was also measured by a Cronbach’s alpha coefficient test (θ = 0.74-0.87). The results of Wilcoxon signed-rank test (a non-parametric statistical hypothesis test) show that there is a significant difference between the mean rank of the existing and the desired knowledge of greenhouse owners, the effect size of 0.87 also confirms the considerable impact. In conclusion, practical suggestions for planning and implementing executive decisions in the field of greenhouse owners education were delivered to fill the knowledge gap.
