Evaluating students' learning styles and understanding how they learn, and using the appropriate teaching methods in order to improve the quality of their learning is very important. The aim of this research was to investigate the relationship between educational factors and learning styles of agricultural students at University of Tehran. Survey method was applied in this research. The statistical population in this applied research was 1300 agricultural students at this university from which 300 students were selected applying stratified sampling technique. A questionnaire, including personal and academic characteristics of the students and "Index of Learning Styles Questionnaire" were developed to collect data. The realibilty of Learning Style Questionnaire was approved by using VARK test. Validity and reliability of the other parts of the research instrument were confirmed based on the evaluation of a panel of experts and composite reliability, respectively. The findings of research indicated that most of the agricultural students had an active learning style in terms of processing dimension (60%), an intuitive learning style in terms of perception dimension (55%), verbal learning style in terms of presentation dimension (56.7%), and sequential learning style in terms of perspective/understanding dimension (58.3%). The results of Spearman correlation analysis revealed that there was a significant relationship between active-reflective learning styles with handout and sensing-intuitive learning styles with textbook and combined educational resources respectively. Results of "Man-Whitney U" test revealed that there was no significance difference between learning styles of students in terms of gender and educational level.

Students' educational motivation and concerns for future job are interlocked and higher education institutions play a vital role in this issue. In align with this issue current empirical research focused on employability skills as an inner driver for agricultural students’ educational motivation. Statistical population was composed of 230 of agricultural students at Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center in Alborz Province, Iran from that 144 students were selected based on Krejcie and Morgan table and through stratified sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire that its face validity and its reliability were secured prion to the main data collection phase (Ordinal Theta ranged from 0.81 to 0.91). Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and binary logistic regression were the prime statistical methods applied by SPSS 23. Factor analysis showed that students' educational motivation is detected in six dimensions including; motivation and innovation, motivation and professional base, emotional motivation, financial incentive motivation, motivation to learn and motivation to get the degree. Also, motivation and innovation were the most variance extracted in these dimensions. The results of logistic regression analysis showed that students' educational motivation is dependent to some dimensions of employability including leadership skills. Hence, curriculum concentration on leadership skills could result in students' educational motivation and achievement.

Environment conservation by people is related to their awareness regarding environment and peoples’ awareness is affected by several factors. Agricultural high school students would play an important role in the agriculture and natural resource sector in the future. The purpose of this cause- correlational study was to investigate factors affecting high school student’s awareness toward environment. The statistical population consisted of 187 agricultural high school students in Zanjan Province, from those 135 students were selected based on Krejcie and Morgan sampling table and applying randomized stratified sampling method. The research tool was a researcher-made questionnaire which its validity was verified by a panel of experts. A pilot study was conducted to determine the reliability of the research instrument and theta reliability coefficient was calculated (θ= 0.8). The finding revealed that majority of students (66.7%) had a high level of awareness. there was a positive significant relationship between students’ awareness and their average grade point, education level of their father, extent of studying books, magazine and watching TV programs regarding environment. Logistic regression analysis showed that watching TV programs regarding environment and place of living explained 66.6 percent of probability of the students’ awareness.

Literature shows that personality is one of the key factors that affect well-being of different professional groups. However, little research has been undertaken related with university students. Thus, drawing on the Five Factor Personality Model, current study investigates relations between personality traits and three different kinds of well-being – engagement, boredom, and burnout- among agricultural students. The study adopted a cause-correlational method. The statistical population of this research consisted of 1780 agricultural students at Bu-Ali Sina University. According to Bartlett’s table, a sample of 260 students was chosen through random sampling method. Data was collected using four standardized self-administered scales including 15-item Big Five Inventory, Utrecht Work Engagement Scale- Student Survey, Utrecht Boredom Scale and Maslach Burnout Inventory- Student Survey. Spearman correlation formula and ordinal regression analysis was run to analyze the data. SPSSwin20 was used to do statistical analysis. The results indicate that conscientiousness and neuroticism were significantly related to each well-being dimension. In addition, agreeableness was only significantly related to burnout and openness to experience being only significantly related to boredom. In total, results indicate that personality traits can explain 5 to 16 percent of the variance in students’ well-being.

Education is crucial for development and training need assessment is essential for effiective education. For this purpose, a descriptive research methodology design with the aid of Borich Need Assessment Model was used to conduct the study. The target population of the study consisted of all Rainbow Trout fish farmers of Boyer-Ahmad County. Based on the model, 42 competencies needed were developed to assess needs of Rainbow Trout fish farmers (N=70). The perceived level of importance and perceived level of competence of the 42 competencies of Rainbow Trout fish farmers were measured. The data were acquired by questionnaire using face-to-face interviews. A panel of experts confirmed the face validity of the questionnaire. The questionnaire was subjected to reliability testing by using a sample of fish farmers outside the study area and confirmed with the ordinal Alpha value of 0.82. Overall training needs were analyzed and ranked using Mean Weighted Discrepancy Scores (MWDS). The top five competencies in need by Rainbow Trout fish farmers included fish diseases and their symptoms, characteristics of food and fish feeding, transporting and harvesting condition (release, fish density, temperature and weight). According to the results of ordinal regression, variables such as attitude regarding fish farming, level of education, participation in training courses, and pool area affect the skill of fish farmers.
